The toughest team last season, we were ecstatic to win with a 5-0 lockout!

27/10/09 – Phaxx vs Ironhide (cp_dryer_b4 + ctf_turbine)
Postponing until Tuesday didn’t help Ironhide, losing to us 7-1 / 6-1

8/11/09 – Super Fun Happy Time

15/11/09 – Phaxx vs Starscream (cp_stag + ctf_aerospace_b4)
Another win against Starscream, a newly formed team consisting mainly of Mercs from last season.

29/11/09 – Super Fun Happy Time Redux

6/12/09 – TF2 Season declared – Phaxx/Soundwave is Victorious!
With a commanding lead we were declared winners of this season.

Always read the requirements.
When a new videocard recommends a 500w+ PSU make sure you have one.

Edit: So apparently it wasn’t a lack of power, but Vista in general.
A quick format, XP install and everything is fine. It even fixed my wireless!
Still going to buy a new PSU though, running on a 430w can’t be good.

First up, I’d like to thank Syp over at Bio Break for making me really think about the current balance in my life.

Until now I had been gaming at any opportunity I could, with the detriment of spending time with my family. Gaming had always been entertainment, a way to relax, and while it still was it was slowly turning to something more. The stress of work was building and seemingly the only way to release was playing games. This led to a vicious cycle of spending less time and build tension with my wife and child.

But now that I recognise the problem, I’m actively working on it. I’ve limited my gaming time to roughly an hour per night during the week, maybe more on weekends but with defined breaks between to help out around the house, have some family time and generally pursue other interests. Within days I felt happier, as did my wife. I have no doubt there will be hard times in the future, but I hope with this lesson learnt I can better deal with them.
